May @ The Point

This year The Point Theatre in Eastleigh celebrates its 20th birthday as a supporter of local arts and a regional powerhouse for dance. To commemorate this important milestone you can join The Point for a celebratory picnic with live music and pop-up performances by The Point Youth Theatre, Street to The Point and Hampshire Youth Dance Company. This free event will take place in Leigh Road Recreation Ground and The Point, 12-2pm on Saturday 12 June. Book your free place here.

National Theatre Live A View from the Bridge (encore screening), Thursday 12th May 7pm
Following its smash-hit original broadcast, the Young Vic’s ‘magnetic, electrifying, astonishingly bold’ production of A View from the Bridge returns to cinemas due to audience demand. Book tickets here.

A Tangled Feet and Half Moon co-production Need a Little Help, Saturday 14th May 2pm
Based on the experiences of young carers, this moving and uplifting show explores what it means to look after someone else when you are young. In a uniquely designed immersive space, the young audience will help the performers look after each other, stepping into the shoes of young carers. For ages 3-7 years. Book tickets here.

Protein presents May Contain Food, Tuesday 24th & Wednesday 25th May 7.30pm
Award-winning Protein returns with its most playful show to date as four vocalists and four dancers all sing for their supper in a dining setting that may contain food...This witty piece of dance and music theatre is inspired by social occasions and life at mealtimes. Book tickets here.
