The first ever Southampton Open Studios Trail is taking place in June and July 2012. Three major Southampton visual arts organisations have joined together to launch the trail giving the public the chance to view and buy affordable artwork and meet artists living and working in the city.

The trail, which is taking place over the weekends of 30 June & 1 July and 7/8 July, is a collaboration between; Arches Artists Studios, Red Hot Press, Tower House Studios and unit11studios, all based in Southampton. Members of the public can visit all the studios to see the work being produced there and meet the artists.

Sunday 8 July sees the return of the popular Cattle Market Wayzgoose Fete hosted by Red Hot Press and Arches Artists Studios.

The artists hope that the Southampton Studios Trail will become an annual event.
