Lighten UP is coming to Southampton’s Guildhall Square for two nights only on the 22 and 23 November.
 
This dazzling light show will use the Guildhall and Sir James Matthews buildings as ‘canvasses’ and use different light techniques involving graffiti, sculptures and special installations and large scale projections. There is also the opportunity for young people to take part and have their work displayed onto the giant canvasses.
 
Running alongside Lighten UP will be an exhibition at Solent Showcase showing works from Heinrich and Palmer, Lightmark, Sola and others. The exhibition runs until 8 December, 11am – 6pm Monday to Friday, 11am – 5pm Saturday. Entry is free.
