A range of top music acts take over 14 acres of farmland at a new Hampshire festival being put on by Sarah Parish and James Murray.
The 1,000 capacity boutique style Rookwood Festival will take place at Rookwood House in Medstead on June 4 with entertainment from artists including Frank & Fast’s Fun Loving Criminals DJ Set, Dodgy, Ward Thomas and eight more bands spread across two stages. The fun is set to begin at 4pm, with music continuing until 1am.
The famous acting couple hope Rookwood Festival will boost their bid to raise £1 million for Southampton General Hospital in memory of their daughter. Sarah and James, who live in nearby Ovington, set up their charity The Murray Parish Trust after their daughter Ella-Jayne died at just eight months old. They are helping to fund the expansion of the hospital's Paediatric Intensive Care Unit in her memory.
As well as a host of musical talents there is also a food village, bar and trade stalls. New names will be announced as they are confirmed. Tickets, priced £50 for adults, £20 for ten to 17-year-olds and free for children, for more infomation please visit Rookwood Festival website.
