CultureSouthampton October 2013 E-Newsletter

Welcome

The Cultural Quarter is a hive of activity this Autumn…we have just enjoyed SO:fest – going from strength to strength and bringing Guildhall Square alive. It was especially good to see so many new partners and business supporters getting behind SO:fest and also looking keenly to the future as the cultural quarter becomes increasingly animated and exciting.

City Eye’s upcoming ‘Southampton Film Week’ is another solid fixture in the year-round cultural calendar that will help to make Southampton a not-to-be-missed destination.

I’m delighted to welcome RSM Tenon and Corrotherm International as Corporate Members. And I'm looking forward to meeting with Business Solent members on 8 October when I'll be updating them on the Cultural Quarter at a working lunch alongside Sam Hodges, Creative Producer at the Nuffield and Cllr Matt Tucker, portfolio holder for Leisure & Culture.

Thank you for your support and don’t forget to tell your friends and colleagues to sign up for our newsletter.
